• Decode 3-letter phonetic words with vowels o and u (e.g., dog, cub)
• Introduce consonant digraphs (sh, th, ) (e.g., she, this)
• Practice final blends (e.g., lamp, fast)
• Learn new sight words while reinforcing those from Part 1
• Practice letter and word writing
• Begin writing simple words and sight words independently
